The post marketing surveillance (PMS) department of NPRA conducts post-registration product quality and label surveillance.
If your registered product does not have the Certificate of Analysis and Analysis Method, we advise that you obtain them. In 2020, the PMS department has issued over 500 warning letters to product holders, in which 60% are for traditional and health supplements.
For health supplements, assay test (quantity determination) of the active ingredients is mandatory.
